Stonestep, a Swiss-based insurtech firm established in 2012 has global reach, started operation in Nepal since 2017. Stonestep has been revolutionizing insurance delivery under “microinsurance as service” strategy in emerging markets. Stonestep designs affordable climate risk transfer products specifically for vulnerable populations and first-generation insurance customers. By integrating cutting-edge technology with insurance companies, mobile network operators, retailers, cooperatives and other corporations, Stonestep ensures seamless accessibility to its risk transfer solutions for those in need.
